For mapping who knows who, and what they're all doing. Network maps can let us see links to people that we wouldn't otherwise have seen. Network mapping lets both individuals and communities use their networks more effectively for achieving basic goals such as health, prosperity, and happiness.

Networking Against Isolation and Lonliness
Compared to other countries, we are report more loneliness and feelings of isolation.

Loren is a Sociology Professor at Centenary College. His research is about how everyday social interaction is therapeutic--both for individuals and their communities, and how the way we we live can affect that. He teaches "Society and Technology," "Urban Sociology," and "Race and Ethnicity."
